Registered appraiser

Appraising a property requires tailoring; every property is different. That’s why we analyse each property carefully. We consider the living space, the location, whether the house has been well maintained, and more. Then we compare our findings to the greater-Amsterdam real estate market. This is how we determine the market value of your property and draw up a certified appraisal report. Our affiliation with the national appraisal institute NWWI guarantees quality appraisal reports. By the way, we’re also registered as an appraiser with the NRVT (Dutch register of property appraisers) and listed in the official real estate registerVastgoedcert

When to appraise your home?

So when should you have a property appraised? For instance, if you are:

  • Buying a home
  • Selling a home
  • Transferring your mortgage
  • Looking for a lower interest rate
  • Divorcing
  • Determining the WOZ value (Valuation of Immovable Property Act)

Appraisal versus sales advice

An official home appraisal, or sales advice without any obligation. JA! Real Estate can help you with either of the two, but they are different things. In both cases, we determine the market value and draw up a report. Here’s the difference: The appraisal report is an official NWWI report, which complies with legal requirements and regulations and has been drawn up in more detail. A bank, mortgage lender, insurance company or the Dutch Tax Service will always ask for an official report.
